In American Coin-Op’s December issue, J.D. Dixon, owner and president of National Laundry Equipment, based in Nashville, Tenn., is featured in an interview about the pros and cons of building new stores or rehabbing existing laundromats. Building a new store is more financially risky and you have to build your customer base from zero, but you can customize it the way you want it.
“There are great arguments for both sides, but there are some catches that you want to look at, whether you’re buying a new store or retooling a store,” says Dixon. “Both can be great investments.”
